Yes, it is possible to view your complete route before navigating to your destination.  There may be a couple ways to do this.

The first way is to:

1. Touch View (lower right corner)
2. Touch the green Navigation Bar at the right of the touchscreen that shows your upcoming turn instructions
3. Touch Map or Show Map at the bottom of the touchscreen

The second way is to¹:

1. Select your Destination
2. Touch Menu
3. Touch Settings
4. Touch Demo
5. Touch DEMO On
6. Click OK

The entire route should be shown in demo mode to you  on the touchscreen of the device.

Tip: Touch the Plus (+) or Minus (-) icons to zoom in or out.  Touch the map and drag to view different parts of the map.²
